Fallout 4 and Battleborn

Its 2008, 1 a.m. and just getting off work. I pass by the video game aisle and remember that Fallout 3 came out today. I had never heard of the franchise before, so the fact that there had been two previous entries in the series I didn’t know about was normally an indication to stay away. I was 18 and slightly more irresponsible than I am now so I buy it anyway. What the hell, might as well give it a chance.

I called in “sick” to work the following two days (I wasn’t very fond of my job) and had the next three days after that off. I played so much of this game. Fallout was a gritty Oblivion with guns and interesting character progression, why wouldn’t I love it? Fast forward to typing this article and my mind is flooded with memories of BOTH times I put more than 100 hours into a Fallout 3 save.

Needless to say I’m excited for the amount of time I’m gonna pour into this game. I wont tell you to watch the trailer below, because I know you’ve already seen it. I will, however, tell you to watch it again, and again, and once more for good measure.

Now, this game kinda came out of nowhere. I’ve been seeing promos for a new gearbox game for a few days now, and I think I’ve even seen some footage prior to seeing this video (or was that for Overwatch?). Battleborn is an upcoming FPS from the people that brought you Borderlands. What more can I say? If you like first-person shooters and having fun with friends, you’ll enjoy the shit out of this game.

I know, bold statement, but these guys can’t mess this stuff up.

E3 is coming.
